THE PROJECT
Following James’s ‘A year with MI6’ exhibition and his work with the producers of the James Bond films he was commissioned in 2013 by Aston Martin to make a series of paintings to celebrate their centenary. He was given exclusive access to their factories in Banbury and Newport Pagnell as well as following their racing teams at the Nurburgring and the Le Mans 24 hour race.
The resulting work was shown at the Aston Martin Hyde Park Corner show room and also used in a limited edition luxury Aston Martin centenary book.
